IMPORTANT:
Please DO NOT make an appointment with this company
Currently I am only able to carry out work at properties where my dog is welcome to join me.
As you have stated you do not want a dog in your home, you will need to find an alternative company to help you.
For your convenience I have added a button below that will open a new window in your browser and search google for a 'Plumber near me'.
Sorry I can't be of more help but my dogs wellbeing takes priority over anything else.

As you haven't used the button above to make your appointment, i'm going to make three assumptions.
You need some Plumbing, Heating or Gas work undertaken and at some point in your life you were advised that, in this situation, you should get a few estimates first.
Whoever told you this, probably said to make sure you get a couple of estimates, but i'm going to guess they told you to get three!
Finally I am going to assume you are expecting this estimate to be free!
How do I know these things?
I've been doing this a long time!
If you're willing to invest a few minutes in reading this page, I can help you with a better solution.
Did you know that (at the time of writing this) there were over 30 companies (I stopped scrolling through the google results once I found 30) offering plumbing services in the Eastbourne area. . . and you were planning to ask just THREE to give you a estimate?
What if you picked the wrong three?
If you're not a plumber yourself. . .
How do you know a good company from a bad one?
How do you know they are using the correct materials?
How do you know they aren't using low quality materials?
How do you know their work will comply with current water regulations?
How do you know their work will comply with Legionnaires Disease Prevention Guidelines?
. . . Its a lot to think about isn't it?
Don't worry, there's a really simple solution to choosing a company, but before we get to that, lets assume you have the three estimates you wanted in front of you. How did you plan on deciding which company to use?
Whilst you might go for the cheapest company, you know it's going to be low quality and if you do choose that company, you know it won't be long until things start to go wrong!
You don't want to choose the most expensive company because that probably means you're being over-charged!
So you would probably have chosen the company whose price is in the middle?
If only I could predict the lottery numbers with this much accuracy!
Would like to know what I would do in your situation?
For anything Gas related, I would make sure the company is Gas Safe Registered. (and yes that even covers disconnecting a old gas cooker on a hose connection! It's not uncommon for those to leak slightly after the hose is removed and it's often not until the new kitchen is complete that the the smell of gas becomes apparent and then the new kitchen has to be taken apart to repair the leak.)
For everything else, I would make sure they hold formal qualifications in both 'Water Regulations' and 'Legionnaires Disease Prevention' and if they didn't have BOTH, I wouldn't allow them to touch the plumbing installation in my home.
I also wouldn't accept an estimate/quote, i'd want a guaranteed fixed price!
This is where a lot of companies will say it can't be done. It can, it just requires more work to prepare and it means they can't give you one price and then change it mid-job when they find 'something unexpected'!
You should also expect to pay the company for their time in providing you with this price. Personally I charge between £47 and £297 (Depending on the service) due to the significant amount of time required to complete the task.
Current Building Regulations 'Part L of The Conservation of Fuel & Energy', (You can download a copy online and read it yourself) state that a new boiler should be correctly sized for the property.
What this means is, your current boiler probably heats the water in the heating system to about 80 degrees before it's sent to the radiators. In order to comply with the new Building Regulations, new installations should only heat the water to 55 degrees to conserve fuel and energy.
In order to correctly size a boiler to your property a heat loss calculation will need to be carried out at your property and you should expect to have a Gas Safe Engineer in your property measuring the rooms, windows, size of current radiators, testing the gas pressure, water pressure, etc for about an hour or two depending on the size of your property. Once they have this information, then they can start working out a price! (Thats why providing a price for a new boiler installation is a paid service charged at £297)
If you've been given a price for a new boiler by a company and they haven't done this, personally I would disqualify that company from consideration immediately because if they aren't complying with building regulations, what other corners will they be cutting when the work starts?
There will be some people reading this who will only be looking for the cheapest option. They might be renovating a property to sell it and their primary focus is to maximise profits and don't care too much about water safety or the future gas running costs. If this describes you, this is not the company for you and you will need to look elsewhere for someone to help you!
However, if you would like a guaranteed fixed price for some Plumbing, Heating or Gas work to be completed in your home and you want that work completed to the highest standard and in full compliance with all regulations, click the button below.
Having read the above, if you are still looking for a company to give you a free estimate, this is not the company for you and you will need to look elsewhere!

At Exclusive Trades we have a range of services at a fixed price such as Homeowner/Landlord Gas Safety Certificates, Boiler Servicing, Central Heating Fault Finding, legionnaires Disease Risk Assessments, Gas Leak Detection and so on.
Other work we are happy to price for would be as follows, Gas Leak Repairs, New Gas Pipes, New Radiators, & Replacement Hot Water Cylinders.
We do not undertake the installation of new bathrooms or kitchens.
Whilst we do undertake new Central Heating Systems, this work is only undertaken if the property is vacant.
If you require a price for a New Boiler or Central Heating System, please visit the 'New Boiler' page using this button.
Providing an accurate price small plumbing repairs & installations is charged at £47.00.
Repairs to hot Water & Heating systems are more complex and are charged at £97.00.
'New Boilers' & 'New Installations' are charged at £297.00 which reflects the significant time required to complete these tasks.
If you require a price for either a 'New Boiler' or a 'New Central Heating System', please visit the 'New Boiler' page using this button.
Do you mean, will I carefully calculate your price and then add on £47.00, £97.00 or £297.00 (Depending on the service) so that I can pretend to reduce it by that much when you accept it? - No.
Whilst some companies will use this tactic to try and encourage you to accept their price, I'm not going to insult your intelligence by pretending to do this.
Attending your property to provide you with a price will take time and that time needs to be charged for accordingly.
(If you were in my position, would you turn away other work, perhaps a boiler service, perhaps a gas safety inspection or some other paid services and use that time to create a price for a potential client that you then give away for free? Would you then repeat that process for five, maybe ten times a week for different potential clients? Of course not, if you did, you wouldn't be able to afford to stay in business for very long!)
No, all of our work is carefully priced to be completed in full accordance with all Gas Regulations, Water Regulations and Legionnaires Disease Prevention Guidelines.
Not all companies work to such high standards, many will ignore certain regulations and requirements to be able to offer a significantly lower price.
At Exclusive Trades, work is either carried out correctly, in full compliance with all regulations, or not at all!
That's okay, that just means this is not the right company for you.
Exclusive Trades is not a cheap company and I have no desire for it to be a cheap company.
Not because, as the installer you earn less money! You still earn the same money, you just have to work with cheap/inferior quality materials that don't last as long. You have to cut corners during the installation process to save time and then you have to deal with the inevitable complaints when things go wrong shortly after their installation.
From an installer's point of view, it really is more trouble than it's worth!
However, just because this is not the right company for you, it doesn't mean I can't help you find a company that you may feel better suits your needs!
If you click the button below it will open a new window in your browser and carry out a search of Google for 'Cheap Plumbers In Eastbourne'. Google will then provide you with a list of companies it feels best suits your needs!
Just remember, you will only ever get what you pay for, so don't be too hard on the installer in 12-24 months when things start to go wrong, they probably did their best with the budget available!
We accept the following payment methods.
Due to the increasing number of tool thefts from vans, we now only carry the specific tools required to complete the work we have scheduled for that day and consequently we are unable to do any unplanned work for a client whilst at their property.
To ensure we have the correct tools and testing equipment with us when we arrive at your property, please select the type of estimate you require below.
